Welcome to The Global Institute of Lansing. Our mission is to provide appropriate educational options for adult refugees, so that they may complete high school and earn a diploma in an atmosphere of peace, respect, encouragement, and inspiration. The Issue and Our Solution. It is estimated that between 700-800 refugees are resettled in the Lansing area each year. Many of these refugees come to Lansing in their late teenage years and are often unable to complet.
